Malcolm Woodcock is a consultant ophthalmologist who carries out his NHS work at Worcestershire for Worcestershire Acute Hospitals NHS Trust. He set up and runs the vitreoretinal (VR) service in Worcestershire. His vitreoretinal fellowship training was undertaken at the 2 largest and busiest VR units in the country, the Birmingham and Midland Eye Centre (BMEC) and at Moorfields Eye Hospital in London.
As well as doing a high volume of retinal detachment surgery, macular hole repairs and peeling epiretinal membranes he has been involved with many more complex and innovative vitreoretinal techniques.
